Instructions & Warranty

Welcome
Congratulations and thank you! You are now the owner of one of the world's most unique and useful products, the Raising Cane®. In the next few paragraphs we will provide some  tips on use and care of your new cane. Feel free to call or write to us with any  additional questions or comments that you might have.

Usage and Cautions
The Raising  Cane® has been designed primarily as a convenience for all  individuals who use canes and, as such, it is very simple to use. Its use is  limited to persons weighing less than 225 lbs.

The cane self rights by  employing a unique design that effectively uses the force of gravity. This self-righting feature will function very well on most level surfaces but will  not work well on surfaces such as sand or grass.

  • As with all canes, be careful when using the Raising Cane® on stairs as well as on slippery and uneven surfaces.
  • Always place the cane on the ground such that the cane shaft is approximately perpendicular to it.
  • Do not use the cane for purposes other than those for which it was designed.
  • Never use the cane with a heavily worn or missing rubber base pad.
  • Do not let children use the cane as a toy.
  • Do not use the cane near, or in contact with, exposed electrical outlets or  devices. Under some circumstances the cane could conduct electricity which could cause serious injury or death.

Care of  the Raising Cane®
The Raising  Cane® is crafted from high performance materials. No  maintenance of the Raising Cane® is necessary other than occasional cleaning if it becomes dirty from use.

Clean the Raising  Cane® with a soft damp cloth and a small amount of soap. Do not use harsh cleaners or solvents on any part of the device. Do not immerse the device in water and do not use abrasives such as powders or steel wool on  it.

Liability of Raising Canes®,  LLC.
The liability incurred by Raising  Canes®, LLC. as a result of the use of this product is limited to the purchase price of the device.
